Turnovers
Instructions
- Pastry for two-crust pie
 - Roll pastry into two sheets about 10 X 10 X 1/8 inches in size.
 - Cut into 5 inch squares.
 - Put rounded tablespoon of desired jam or pie filling on one half of each
 - square, placing it so pastry can be folded into a triangle.
 - Fold other half of pastry over jams, and seal open edges of triangle by press-
 - ing them together with a floured fork. Prick with fork, sprinkle with sugar.
 - Place on foil lined baking sheet. Bake 5 as you are finishing the others.
 - Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
